I am so glad that I decided to go to Brea Olinda this year to watch Pep Flag division. And I am especially excited to see Morse perform. Hopefully they make a come back this year from their long absence. They look like a very talented group this year, I saw their performance from both of their pep rallies, and they seem like a very good team! As far as I know, there is no other team I would rather root for than Morse! Although other teams such as CI, Long Beach and Carson have a good chance as well, I see much potential in Morse. This season is going to be so intense!!!! GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

only 3 teams? :/

I just want Morse to win because I'm tired of seeing Channel Islands win lol

LBP will take this comp, hands down. So dont get your hopes up when they call LBP out for first place. Okay? Okay.

Good luck to all the teams competing tomorrow ^-^ I'm sure that you're all going to do an awesome job. When you're on stage(in this case basketball court) remember to have fun and show everyone how hard you've all been working. Morse Twirl Flags 0810 <3

Anonymous said...

3) Glendora

2 FLAG
1) long beach poly
2) morse
3) bell

Anonymous said...

yeah, can anyone make a snippet video of the performances for those of us that can't attend?

Anonymous said...

i absolutely loved poly's one flag theme, too bad morse just reused their 09 routine. i hope they change it for nationals!

Anonymous said...

What's LBPs theme?

Anonymous said...

Morse is getting a little boring! lol! But damn Poly your ending is so intense!

Anonymous said...

LBP looked too much like CI. sorry

Anonymous said...

Was I the only one who noticed that Morse had the EXACT same ending song as LBP...

Anonymous said...

LBP brought their own originality and got got gold and silver for it, while channel brought indian music and lady gaga hand motions.. awk.

Anonymous said...

Morse's pep flag team is so kind! We got a picture with them!!!!

Anonymous said...

To be honest, I feel like LBP's routines are always strong, but towards the end of 2 flag some of the girls looked super tired! Still loved it! GO POLY!!!

Morse I see that there trying to step out of the box a little, that routine just didnt seem like it was hungry tigers we saw 2010 and regionals last year.

Bell what happened! You guys just stayed in the same formation for like the whole routine...

Glendora is glendora... but I like there spirit. They like twirling and thats all that matters, just doing what they love to do.

Anonymous said...

Or maybe LBP had the SAME EXACT ending song as Morse. Morse comes up with their routines right after tryouts in March & April, idk about LBP.

Anonymous said...

^ So you mean to say that you hold try outs before nationals? Interesting...

Anonymous said...

LBP performed their 2 flag at so cal in December, so Motse obviously got their ending song from them. And judging from the fact that one girl on Morse dropped probably 5 times in that one song, they have not been practicing that since March/April.

Anonymous said...

Who used the song better.. LBP or Morse? Can someone just post a video???

Anonymous said...

Does it really matter that they used the same song the same year? It's happened in the past with every school, it's happened every year, it's going to happen. Stop making it such a big deal.

Anonymous said...

At least morse doesn't need a coach like every other school. they create a full routine by themselves or actually 2 routines in a span of only few months because can't you tell from their pep rally videos that they perform the previous comp routine? and plus how could morse "steal" the last song from lbp if there was no video or anything shown of them at so cal classics. you guys are just hating on morse! MORSE FAN FOREVER<3 can't wait to see them at nationals. I predict theyre gonna take home 1st with their one flag they always have cute routines.

Anonymous said...

My mistake. Workshops are held before nationals, where you learn how to twirl. After Nationals around 2nd week of April, tryouts are held. And about the girl who kept dropping her flag, I personally think she shouldn't have made it n the team. She was probably nervous seeing how she has no clue there are competitions. It's sad because some people tryout for the team just for the popularity.

Also, Morse doesn't compete as often because they share advisors with their cheer leading, banners, and drill team. So she is often busy.

Poly, I got to give it up to you ladies, you owned that floor. To be honest, I think I was smiling like an idiot watching your 1-flag. Uh-mazing. I ain't gonna lie, I thought you stuffed that 1st place plaque in your flag bag before awards even started. I was so surprised, yet relieved :P, that Morse kept that routine's first place reputation. Wonderful job in 2-flag also, I'm excited to see how you place at Nationals.

These Morse Twirl Tiger cubs are growing up ^-^ You've got your work cut out for you but I'm sure you know that. I'll check up on you guys more :3

BTW, I'd like to clarify that our ending song was actually recommended by an alumni. I was surprised to hear it play but, I guess great minds think alike. :]

Practice hard everyone.I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at Nationals. Hopefully all the top teams will be there.

Stay hungry, stay humble.

Anonymous said...

@JRBO, do you happen to have a video of Morse's performances? I'm dying to see them D:

Anonymous said...

loooooooved poly's booty shake in their 1 flag! made me wanna dance with them! and morse still strong as ever. tough competition this year!!!!!

Anonymous said...

I don't see why Morse shouldn't have used their 09 routine. They didn't attend nationals that year.

Anonymous said...

what do you think lbp and morse would have placed if they competed at agoura with the rest of the teams?

Anonymous said...

morse needs to stop making excuses for themselves

"oh we don't have a coach"
"oh our advisor is so busy dealing with the other squads"
"oh we didn't compete at nationals so we can still use the same routine (but we're gonna say we came up with the 'full routine in a span of only two months')" hah
"oh we live soooo fucking far that we don't get to compete a lot"

bullshit.

Anonymous said...

To that rude anonymous: They're not excuses. It really is true. But you wouldn't know that, would you?

Anonymous said...

@the anon saying they're excuses. They really aren't. We really don't have a coach. Routines are made by the team themselves and alumnis. Our advisor is charge of the cheer leading team and other squads.
Don't call me a liar when I go to fucking Morse. Do you go here? Don't think so. Atleast Morse isn't the type of school to be all cocky and all that shit. Do you see any competitions held in San Diego? No. They're all in the Los Angeles area.

Anonymous said...

Aren't alumni's basically considered coaches? Alumni's aren't on the team anymore, hence the term alumni? I found your coaches!

Anonymous said...

You can do it Morse! Long Beach had no coach and no alumni support and still won! Channel Islands only wins now because no one else can, you guys can do it!

Anonymous said...

I think of a coach as a CERTIFIED person. Alumni's are just old members of the team. & the alumnis I'm talking about are people who graduated within the last year or two.

Anonymous said...

Alumnis =/= Coach.

Anonymous said...

Making excuses and lying aren't the same thing you know. Sounds like all you're doing is whining and complaining just because you didn't come out on top this time.

Anonymous said...

I really don't care. It's just regionals.

Anonymous said...

the season's not over bitches, anyone can take it from here

Anonymous said...

regardless if they have an adviser or not.. its what you bring to the floor and how well you perform it.

way to go morse!

Anonymous said...

Haha, sounds like someone is just mad. We'll see who comes out on top at nationals. For now you don't need to point fingers.

Anonymous said...

No one is mad. It is just short flags, an essential in life.

Anonymous said...

WOO! Morse's 1Flag tribute Whitney Houston is gon' take it this year! #RIPWH<3

Anonymous said...

What are 1 flag themes this year?

Anonymous said...

What are all the 1 flag themes for every team??

Anonymous said...

Carson's Theme is 80's/Go-Go's
Channel's Theme is Bollywood

i couldn't really tell the rest

Anonymous said...

And I don't know about other teams either

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...
