I dont think thats true. YES, carson has a facade to up keep, but its not as bad as what you are all taking it to be. Flaggies are known to get in, perform, and get out. Thats how its always been. Now there are exceptions, for example if streetdance is performing they will stay, but once awards are over they peace out... the girls from carson have many friends from other teams like bishop and narbonne. Those three schools alone are very close, either you see it or not.

I think Denny 2007 wasn't as good as Keven. but Denny 2008 was better. both of them have/had body control issues. no one wants to see boys carry them self like that out there. Keven moved more like a girl then the girls on his team.
denny is better than kevin in SO MANY ways:
1. he's a national champion.
2. in his years as a pepper.. he's never NOT shown up to nationals
3. had the peppers NOT gone to nationals one of his years, he wouldn't have shown up with ANOTHER team.
4. if he WERE to show up with another team at a competition to support them (even nationals) he would've at least supported a GOOD team (whose held a title within the past couple years).. such as he's done for CI in the past.
5. denny made usa staff (on his FIRST try)
6. denny sacrificed his hair during his time on peppers.. kevin has NOT sacrificed his disgusting mustache.
7. denny choreographed a way better routine for the peppers this year than kevin's routines from the last 3 years.
8. denny's body control has dramatically improved since his first year twirling. kevin's technique has stayed complacent.. not bad, but not as fluid and controlled as denny.

pep flags is world that involves more than the competing squads. it involves the coaches, the supporters/fans, and the parents. someone decided to create this website to inform people about competitions, camps, etc. this site's INITIAL purpose was NOT to broadcast people's personal thoughts about other teams/their parents/their alumni/their personal lives, however since the maker of this website allows comments, let alone ANONYMOUS comments, it's turned into a place of what everyone likes to call "shit talking."
although what everyone is saying is very harsh and sometimes sadistic, they are entitled to their own opinion. what they say has the power to hurt the people they are talking about, but if the squad members and their coaches and fans are offended, they should know better than to come back and read their critiques. also, with the internet becoming one of the most convenient tools for today's society, many details and, in this case pictures, leak out and are available to the public. as human beings, we have a reaction. since this website is available as an open forum, some people feel it is necessary to publicize those reactions anonymously. whether it be personal opinion, criticism, or shit talking, it is inevitable. these squad members should know better than to to let that stuff leak onto the internet, since they are part of a team.
you would think that all these squads have some kind of code of conduct which would prevent the members from doing some of the things they do (in private) that have come out on the internet. most of the schools are guilty of unsportsmanlike conduct, and though some people point it out here, this website does NOTHING but feed the fire.
bottom line is this.. anything these girls/guys do during competitions/camps is subject to criticism, and people will always have something to say.. good or bad. the people posting these nasty comments are doing nothing but posting the things EVERY SCHOOL'S FANS/ALUMNI/COACHES/MEMBERS are guilty of saying in private. whether it be constructive or plain mean, you wouldn't go up to those teams in person to tell them your opinion.. because they don't care, and who are you to tell them what you think? you'd be overstepping your boundaries as a supporter or coach of your own team by talking to another team about their behavior.
it is up to the coaches and parents to talk to their girls/guys about their behavior, and if they dont.. all the bashing on this website is what happens. so do not blame these people for simply publicizing their opinions anonymously. blame those girls/guys/supporters that make themselves look bad and give everyone reasons (BAD reasons) to talk about them.

Can someone please explain to me why long beach poly made it to finals yet they had at least 6 drops. I am so confused! Shouldn't the other teams that only dropped one ore two times make it? What am I missing?
1. execution is only one part of scoring, and most teams were a bit shakey during prelims, except Channel, Carson, and Bishop
2. Looking at everyone else's performance on Friday, there is no other team in m mind that sticks out that should have replaced LBP or glendora during finals. Indeed you wouldn't expect Bell, Monte Vista, San Pedro, or Temple City to have made it past prelims.
3. LBP has always been known to have very intricate tricks and twirls that can contest to the otehr teams such as CI, Carson, Bishop, etc.
4. There is no reason why you should be calling this into attention. what's done is done

san pedro did not get robbed. The routine they had at regionals was far better than what they showed at nationals. That one black girl on their team let her nerves get the best of her cuz she fumbled for their one flag and two flag routine. San Pedro didn't make the most out of the floor with 3 people compared to Oxnard in 2006.
I don't think they were meaning to say bell, monte vista, temple city, and san pedro are allowed to make it to finals, but I think we can all say that there is a certain level in the routine that sets the top placing teams from the lower placing teams. That's what I'm thinking when the poster grouped those teams together. they're good, but thei level of choreography doesn't comparet o that of like CI.

it doesn't matter. LBP improved majorly during finals so they deserved to be there regardless of their performance at prelims they rocked at finals.
People need to stop saying that Morse and Narbonne would have "rocked" it at nationals if they only went. They didn't go because they were CHICKEN! Think about it, they were afraid to go up against the other teams because they knew that they were no match. How about showing some bravery next year by actually GOING TO NATIONALS and letting everyone know what you got!
And where does Hoover fit into all of this? I believe that they have a shot of making it to finals if they only work on their ANGLES!! They had a super cute 1-flag routine but their 2-flags was not so hot. Good luck giving it another go at it next year!
narbonne didn't go because the school didn't sign them up for nationals. idk why they didnt sign them up but that's what happened. and as for morse, i still don't know what happened with them.
our team gets no support from the school financially. i get so jealous of teams who do. ^_^
from what i have observed, i think the schools that supports them financially is glendora, hoover, and temple city because they have other teams in the spirit category.

lbp deserved to move on to finals. i honestly believe that if they hadn't had so many drops during pre-lims n executed well, they could have gotten second for all i know. but they sure did improve with their performance for finals. lets just see what they have to bring next year! and same goes for all the other teams.

lbp sure did deserve top 3! maybe even two! keep in mind the judges take 40% of the prelims score and average it with finals! with that performance those girls had on friday, top 3 was a long shot.. even if they had a great performance at finals (which they did).
