CI i believe has 4 girls. If you search their marching band on youtube you'll also see CI's banner, drill, and 4 ladies on short flags

I heard narbonne and carson both have six girls... but I am not sure if narbonne is competing this year
i just got back from uca nationals and i must say it definitely but me back in to competition spirit! im really excited to see everyones routines! good luck to everyone this season.

videos are pretty shakey, but you can make most of it out.. i'm glad they post their vids cuz it's great seeing their routines improve throughout the season.. the beginning of their 2 flag is FIERCE.. there's some things in there but hey.. it's unique.. the 1 flag is sooo cute! can't wait to see it live

yeah i saw oxnard at holiday and despite all of the mistakes their routine looked pretty good! They just need to complicate it more and they are in!

i must say all the teams were quite interesting today...
i hate how the posts have to be approved.. it's hard to start a discussion since the chatter box was removed, its even harder when you have to wait until your posts have to be approved.. anyways, what were the final results, and how was CI.. i'm really excited to see them perform with 3 girls.

narbonne placed 3rd for 1 flag and 4th for 2 flag... but with only i think 1 or 2 drops...

Even if some did poorly, the requirement for bid at nationals was lowered to 75 points instead of 80. So most of the teams qualified for nationals because they scored higher than 75. Can't wait to see everyone there.

Congratulations to Channel Islands on their accomplishment on getting first place for both 1 flag and 2 flag. I think their 1 flag was very interesting and innovative but I find it very discouraging to see how CI did in 2 flag and still received 1st place. I'm not trying to be a hater, but I believe that Bishop AND Carson would have been better suited for 1st place.
And don't call me a hater. If CI is really proud to get first place, they should post their Agoura 2 flag video to show how they earned it.
haha i don't remember. according to the blogspot. camarillo made it to nationals but i dono the placing, narbonne came in 4rth and channel Islands i only know won because everyone started screaming. i love CI fans.
Morse won 1 flag last year with like 4-5 drops? Carson dropped twice, Channel Islands dropped once, Bishop dropped 2-3 times...
It's all about energy and not showing your mistakes through facials. Channel Islands deserved 1st place in 2 Flags! They're routine is also creative/amazing with high energy. It was with only 3 members!
The judges thought they deserved 1st so you should go to competitions and record for yourself rather than giving CI a guilt trip.
Congrats to CI!! BUT i personally think carson got robbed for 1st in the 2 flag category!
to the comment about Ci not deserving 1st for 2 flag... what's done is DONE! GET over IT! and there's no need for them to POST videos... Ci's 2 flag is DIFFERENT and i bet next year everyone's gonna wanna routine like it. they always bring something NEW unlike other teams that COPY and PASTE entire sections!

I totally agree with the comment above me. I thought that the judges were bias for giving Channel Island first place since they didn't do so well in 2 Flag.
do you guys seriously think that the judges don't know when Carson or Bishop are using chunks of old material from past years? when you break down the choreography score and the execution scores, it adds up. also, a lot of the teams had terrible execution AND drops, and all of that factors into their overall score. it adds up when you think about it.
i'd love to see someone come up with a routine for 3 girls that is as good or better than ci's this past weekend.
and then we can REALLY talk.
ok seriously people. the season just started. stop hating. judging is really based on the moods of the judges at any giving moment. drops don't make your placement as much as other attributes to the routine unless you drop more then maybe 3 times.

bishop's lady gaga 1 flag is fierce and their opening mount for 2 flag is crazy! that girl stays up there for about 4 eight counts straight. ci's mount sections were fierce too!
ci and bishop are my top 2 favorite teams as of now. keep it coming trannys.

Okay for those who have opinions against me about how CI getting 1st place in 2 flag at Agoura, that I know and that I saw of, there was BIG chunk that was totally off: constant drops, staring around --blankly, and miss timing.
Yes CI made a come back but that should have affected their scores to knock them down to 2nd place.
Don't get me wrong, CI means business. And I love how their very competitive but, I didn't think that 1st should have gone to them. Not at this comp.
im pretty sure channel was upset about their performance. alot of their supporters were pretty shocked to hear the other placings as well. anyhoot, i think it was a great competition, everyone had their fumbles and mishaps. channel was toward the beginning of the division so the judges obviously thought that the other teams after were not meeting the bar that channel had set. see everyone at west co, should be another fierce competition.
carson was not ROBed for first place.... their routine looks like 09 08 07 06 05 04 and so on haha the only thing different are the little mounts they do which are nothing compared to Ci's.... in my opinion all the other teams are hatin on Ci just they were the first ones to come up with all the "NEW" material we're seeing in pep flags now. in 08 when Ci did that crazy 5 person mount I was amazed! and i am till now and after seeing this years routine. Ci might just take it again. BUT we all know its anyones game. Ci had it in 08 but just didn't keep it together during finals. SO ya'll better practice your hearts out and BRING IT!

so far i've heard that ci's alumni judge was the judge that scored them low.. as far as the performance i still think CI deserved first considering the fact that all the other teams failed in the showmanship part.. at the end of the day, the most energetic routine won.. despite the hate comments.. its all over.. next comp please...
Channel didn't deserve 1st place! Only 3 girls and 1 of them messed up so bad! Carson deserved it more.. And Narbonne didn't deserve 4th place either, I love their new routine! They only had 1 or 2 drops. The whole placing was wack I hope they get it right next time!!!

P.S. - Good luck to all the teams this year! Everyone looked really good at regionals! Maybe this year we can try and go without all the bad comments and back stabbing. :) Good luck again to all the teams!
