Not necessarily, some of the members do work for Sharp but the rest are alumni who twirled in high school.
Let's all keep in mind that it's not about Sharp vs. USA, it's about short flags and having another team out there outside the high school division competiting. =)
I don't know exactly who is on twirl all stars or how many members they have but I do know they have alumni's from Carson, Narbonne, San Pedro, and Bishop Montgomery!

yes im pretty sure we all have our favorite teams that we want to win. but i think its wrong to hope that a certain team does not take the title. to me thats just pure hating. just sit back, relax, and let the competition take place and see what happens from there. plus we cant judge any of the teams yet because we have not even seen any of them yet. so calm down.

Channel has 3 returnees. Total number of girls in the team was 5. but they are having some problems and the 2 girls quit. so now the only people that are in the team are the 3 returnees. They will not be competing till regionals if they have a team. For what Ive seen in the rally 2 months ago the routine that they have choreographed is Championship material and their mount. Their mount is much more hardcore than last year. but they are having some issues with the members.

good luck this year CI, if you ladies can pull it last season, you can pull it this season. haters will call you cocky because you are the reigning national champs and ms drill, haters will call you ugly because they have no self-esteem, haters will talk about you have a "boring" routine, haters will talk about how your performances are messy and that you ladies don't deserve to win... don't let those haters affect you as a team and individually because you ladies are strong, determined, and hard working. i agree with "championship material" because your routine is clear and to the point. it is well organized and i give props to mark and to you ladies. stay strong and give those haters a fierce top-notch performance.
that sucks to have members lead esp when competition is right around the corner that messes up planned formations! and sometimes might even make the whole routine worse than the original

i think this comp season wont be fulfilling like last years comp since everyone was on top of things and this year the reason why the teams are so little is either the economy or fam problems or freakin drama with the squad...ci has 3, lbp 3? oh boy.
you may have forgotten that oxnard had 3 in 2006 and got 4th place.. channel islands won with 5 people so it definitely doesn't matter how many people you have.
That being said, i'd say that ideally teams want 6/7 members. Personally, I feel that any more seems to drown out the effects of the routine because their routine has too much to focus on (ie. bishop 2008, channel island 2008).
In case ya'll didn't know, the Classic competition today was: 1st place:Glendora 2nd place: Hoover 3rd place:Oxnard
I can not lie, Glendora was pretty good for their first comp. Hoover has potential, but not quite there yet. Oxnard, good for you for getting yourselves back out there! Great Job all teams!
honestly i dont think a team with 3 people will win at nationals sorry. like someone said above the ideal team is 6-7. and you cant do as much with three people like mounts or tricks yenno? like after seeing amazing teams with the ideal 6-7 even 5 members worked. but what can u do with three? like not in a mean way im just curious
Glendora was the cleanest of the day which is why they won. Their routine was also really good! Congrats ladies. Hoover was really flexible nice routine with four people! Oxnard was really messy! The routine was so slow, but the routine was really good! I am glad they are back they seem like they are doing a good job. With a little cleaning they could go really far this year!
it says on the USA brochure that the allotted size for a pep flag team is 3-36.. so poly and channel you all are safe... i heard poly is packing heat this season..cant wait to see what other teams have in store coz this recession is pushing everyone to the limit!!! gluck everyone!

If Channel Islands & Long Beach Poly has 3 members like how everyone is saying, I think I'm in for a treat! Ideas and formations for 3 members with these 2 teams will be very interesting. baskets aren't allowed. one leg has to be on someones thigh. though i don't think you get disqualified. i think you just get dock points. and i don't think CI would have a midget on their team. there is a height and weight requirement or something to be on that team.

im sorry but in my honest opinion bishop is not the new carson. bishops routine from year to year does not look the same but with different music at all. if anything they are one of the few teams that brings something new every year. yes it may be a little messy but i see them taking risks, they always bring something new and creative to the floor. they think out the box and not stay in their comfort zone. i personally think bishop and ci have been the 2 most creative and innovative teams for the past 2 years. you are seriously trippin' you niglet!

so i have a solution for those that think camarillo and bishop is soooooooooooooooo annoying, how about you stop watching and paying so much damn attention to them. instead why dont you fucken low ass pathetic and is probably a person who does not know how to twirl and wishes that they can twirl stalk your favorite team and admire them! go to channel islands and try and reach for a star, or maybe go to carson and see what the the 411 is if gwen stefani calls them back for a holla back girl video part 2, or even go to long beach poly and try and meet snoop dogg! do something else besides hate on other teams!! to much negative here lets motivate and be positive, come one now competition season is practically here already.

im sorry but in my honest opinion bishop is not the new carson. bishops routine from year to year does not look the same but with different music at all. if anything they are one of the few teams that brings something new every year. yes it may be a little messy but i see them taking risks, they always bring something new and creative to the floor. they think out the box and not stay in their comfort zone. i personally think bishop and ci have been the 2 most creative and innovative teams for the past 2 years. you are seriously trippin' you niglet!
someone should just take this site down. it pisses me off because every time i go to competitions it just makes me look around and see all these supporters and see them all as shit talkers. all talk behind a computer but cant say shit in person. if someone honestly bugged or annoyed you that bad go up to them and say something instead of trash talk over the internet. also another thing i dont get is how can you hate a team or anyone at that if you dont know them personally. pep flags has just became sad a fake world all because of the people that are obsessed with it.
even if you do take this site down, plenty more are sure to follow. Anyone nowadays can create a website or a forum where anyone can discuss there own opinions.
